Thalamus

Thalamus by Datacraft is a platform to view, analyse, and export your practice's clinical quality data. Thalamus pulls data from your practice's Patient Management System (PMS), Aotearoa Immunisation Register (AIR), and National Enrolment Service (NES) Database.

What can your practice use Thalamus for?

  • Export Lists for Recalls
  • Quality improvement projects
  • Monitoring and improving your screening rates
  • Much much more!

Halcyon

Halcyon by Karo is the claiming portal the practices use to:

  1. Claim funding from the PHO for specific services provided by the practice.
  2. Access the referral forms for WCH Provider Services (explained in next part of orientation)

The specific services eligible for funding are called 'Clinical Programmes'. More information about the intentions, eligibility, and structure of the clinical programmes can be found in the Clinical Programmes PDF linked here.

How do you access Halcyon?

  • via the green leaf icon in the PMS

What do I do if my name is not coming up under the provider dropdown in Halcyon?

  • Please ask your practice manager to send an email to Roz Stuart at WCH with your details for Halcyon Access.

What do I do if I am having trouble with a WCH Provider Service Referral?

  1. Contact the person you are trying to refer to (i.e. call WCH to speak to them or email the provider directly)
  2. If you are unable to do the above, please contact the Healthy Lifestyles Manager: Amy Bruhn via email.
  3. If you are unable to do the above, please contact the WCH Clinical Quality Team via email.
